Happy Friday to you! The girls and I are en route to the mountains this weekend with their Nana (my mom). I am so excited to get Harper up on skis for the first time and am feeling all nostalgic and weepy that her first time on skis will be at the same family friend’s cabin where I learned to ski for the first time. It’s going to be a wonderful time, once we get there of course. I’m bracing myself of few hours of non-stop toddler questions in the car. (Mom? Mom? Mom? Mom?) Until they learn how to Google (which I’m not rushing by any means) I suppose I’ll be assuming the role of their search engine. Just call me MaGoogle. Anyway, here are a few questions I bugged Google with this week.

British children’s yoga show
Before kids, my dear friend V and I used to go to yoga once a week together after work. Nowadays, we find ourselves going for coffee before work. Just this week, she was gushing over this children’s yoga video her daughter is obsessed with but couldn’t remember the name. It’s Cosmic Kids, specifically the Squishy Fish show. Have any of you seen it? I can’t wait to try it with Harper and Elliot!

Will Taylor Swift be performing at Super Bowl 50?
Rumor has it, she will be making a cameo. Levi’s Stadium is where Jim and I saw her perform over the Summer, when I had the best fan girl night of my life. What song do you think she would sing? One of hers? A mashup? A Coldplay song? Oh geez, I just got teary eyed thinking about her covering, “Lights will guide you home.” On the flip side, I think she could also do a mean Poker Face. (Nana! Make sure your DVR is on point!)

Should you put dryer sheets in with towels?
Once upon a disposable income time, when I was buying pricey linens, I overheard a salesperson advise another customer not to use dryer sheets with their new towels. Something about the dryer sheets coating the towel and reducing its absorbency. Good Housekeeping agrees. Who really knew this was a thing?

How do you request official emojis?
My friends and I are always talking about the missing emojis from our lives. After a recent note on the missing dinosaur emoji, I asked Google about the whole process, which led me to the Unicode Consortium. According to my new sources, sometime this summer, a new batch of emojis will be released! You can preview the candidates here. (I’m rooting for the pancakes and the facepalm!)
