The Workologist

Have you guys seen the Workologist column in the Sunday New York Times? I just spotted it for the first time last weekend.

It’s like a “Dear Abby” column offering “Friendly advice on any workplace conundrum, large or small.” I read through a few like, Self-Promotion but With Self-RespectDeclining a Work Assignment, With Finesse, and Scrutinizing an Employee’s Suspicious Sick Day. Have you or would you ever write into an advice column? (I haven’t, you know, besides that letter I wrote to Seventeen magazine about teenage agnst.) While The Workologist may not cover topics that I’m faced with on a day-to-day basis these days, I think it certainly could be a helpful (and maybe even entertaining) read for those who are.
