Things I’ve Googled

Are pyracantha berries poisonous?
Mildly poisonous. Right, so that’s a yes. My backyard is poisonous.

What is a pork rind?
Forgive my ignorance here. I really didn’t know. Jim ordered Chicarrons the other night and wouldn’t stop talking about them. That’s a nice way of saying pig skin.

On Fleek
Side note: This question came after I created my own Bitmoji to reply to my friend Kate’s cross-your-legs-hysterical texts. One of the options is this:

And I still don’t get it. I feel like Monica Gellar screaming, “THAT’S NOT EVEN A WORD!”

Do they still make stick shifts in cars?
I recently saw my old car that I sold five years ago and I started to wonder if manual transmission is even an option anymore. Am I alone in thinking that everyone needs to experience this? I can hear Harper and Elliot now… What? You had to shift the car into gear yourself and you had to roll your window down with a crank? Mom, you are so not on fleek. (Did I just get it? Maybe?)

Is it normal for your hair to fall out more in the Fall?
I am experiencing some (what I really hope is) seasonal hair loss. It’s starting to freak me out.

CV versus resume
Because I feel like this is common knowledge I should probably be up on.

When will the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 air?
Damn, no release date yet. I was recently visiting one of my best friends, Joy, who asked if I had watched this show. Of course, I told her. And she said, I figured, because you are totally Kimmy. You know, minus the weird cult kidnapping. Thanks, friend. P.S. Kimmy Schmidt’s 90’s Throwback mix on Pandora is everything.

Things I’ve Googled is an ongoing series and comes from one of the standard questions Jim and I ask each other when we get home. Often, it’s a good indicator of where our minds have wandered off to in the middle of the day and the topics usually make us laugh. So consider this part educational. Part oversharing. Part nonsense. Completely random.

  1. Kurt has a stick shift, but I can’t drive it. haha
“That is so 1980s”…a phrase that came out of my son’s mouth. Sigh.

  2. 1. I don’t even know what a CV is so thanks for the link. I am so out of the employment loop.
    2. Stress is a good reason for hair loss… you haven’t gone through anything life changing or stressful lately, have you? 😉
    3. I’m putting on that pandora station while I edit my next session. #90smusicforever
