It’s probably obvious — I’ve been in my head all week.
Do you ever do that? Go around and around and make yourself dizzy when there are more questions than answers? I have had a hard time letting go of the fact that there are simply a lot of unanswered questions right now and being okay with it.
One night this week, a friend was recalling her job as a lifeguard at the lake and said, “Sometimes people thought they were drowning and I would just yell at them, “STAND UP!” because they didn’t realize how shallow the water is.”
Boom.
Guess what, self? You are not drowning. So this weekend, I’ll be getting out of my head and we’ll be trying to get out of the house (Harper has been home with a fever the last couple days) to feel the crisp October air kiss our cheeks and run through our hair. I think we’ll have some cider too.
Have a good one!
