Just wanted to check in and acknowledge the lighter posting here the last week or so. With Thanksgiving, Ellie’s birthday, a trip out of town, the girls getting ear infections, and fun holiday stuff, my posts took a back seat. We’re all caught up now (and done with antibiotics) after a nice weekend at home.

Isn’t it funny how things can swing from one end of the spectrum to another? Like today, we were happily building a train out of empty boxes. Then, mid-meltdown, in a moment of desperation, I was telling Harper that I had Santa’s phone number. I had to turn around to hide my face after seeing her reaction. It was everything I could do to not laugh out loud. Here’s hoping your weekend was just as entertaining. xo
